Moving the Farmers’ Market to Global Village will not only maximize profits through the increase of foot traffic, it will create a sense of cultural diversity, bettering the R.I.T. community as a whole. Students and faculty are able to obtain fresh produce from local vendors at a more flexible time frame, as a well as enjoy everything that Global Village has to offer.
Outcome: Final presentation was given to administrators and decision makers on October, 20, 2010. Currently, the director of Global Village, in co-operation with food services as well as the director of multi-disciplinary studies are implementing the strategies suggested and preparing for the change due for Fall, 2011.
